Hi! And welcome to our website. I hope you find the information you need to get to know us at First Baptist Church Evansville just a little bit better. First Baptist is a downtown church at the heart of Evansville. We are committed to helping people grow in their relationship with God and to make a positive difference in the community around us.

• If you are hurting, we strive to be a place for healing. We seek to see people reach their full God given potential.
• If you are looking for opportunities for worship we feature a fairly traditional worship service each Sunday morning at 10:45 AM. This is a time to worship God and Jesus Christ seeking the Holy Spirit for direction for our community as well as our personal lives.
• First Baptist is also a serving community, reaching out to the lost, the hungry, the homeless and the oppressed.
• We strive to welcome everyone without exception and to live the values of God’s Kingdom.
