Camp
First Baptist youth have been attending camps at Indian
Creek Baptist Camp, near Bedford, Indiana, for many
years. There are camps for all children from 1st
grade through high school. Lifelong friendships are formed
and a Christ-centered atmosphere is central to all camp
activities. Through the years, many youth have grown from
campers to counselors.

Retreats &
Conventions
Taking time out to get away from busy school and
extra-curricular schedules is essential for healthy
spiritual growth. Our First Baptist Youth attend annual
retreats and youth conventions to slow down, spend time with
Christian friends and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Missions
Our youth
participate regularly in mission trips that allow them to
use their talents to further God’s kingdom.
We believe that God has called us into a lifestyle of
serving others. Past trips have involved
Hurricane Katrina relief in Mississippi, leading programs at the
Edna Martin
Christian Center in Indianapolis, and work trips to Indian
Creek Baptist Camp. We also believe that our own community
is a mission field, so we volunteer at local centers and in
projects to help others in need.
